I’m Michael Osborne, I moved to Cornelius in 1995. Like many of you, I moved away from cement, cell towers and congestion. I moved here for the lake, beautiful tree canopies, parks, good schools, low crime and a laid back life-style.
If we join together and make our voices heard, we can fight for the change we want to see!
Voting serves all of us. Thank you for your commitment.
While on the Planning board, I learned a lot about our town. This year we saw the Town Board approve projects that made many of us feel angry, concerned and even sad. We saw the Town approve a project that was unanimously voted against by the Planning Board. The way they did it was classic. They made a deal with the developer right in the Town Board meeting.
I'm here to amplify your voice. Your concerns have been ignored for too long and you don’t want to lose the things you moved here for. We are fighting to fix it. We stand for family time not traffic time, tree tops not towers and people not projects.
Like me, many of you moved here for the lake, the beautiful tree canopies, the parks, good schools and low crime. If you wanted cement, cell towers and congestion, you would have moved somewhere else.
It’s time we fix this flawed development approval process that "doesn’t allow us" to consider traffic, schools and health.
I can't win this race without your help. Flyering, word-of-mouth, and donating are all ways of helping us achieve our goals together.
Your donation is an opportunity to be part of something bigger. If you want to help fix it, show your support by contributing today!
